Hey Sherlock fans! Do you live in southern California? Would you be interested in joining fellow fans for a day of fun and yummy food? Then join me and breathingsboring for a day filled with Sherlock and Frankenstein madness! Join us for a Sherlock meet-up for Sunday, July 8th to go see Frankenstein at the Barclay Theatre on the UCI campus in Irvine! The plan is as follows:
Meet at 1 pm outside the Barclay Theatre in order to purchase tickets and get the chance to talk and meet each other
Go in for the 2 pm showing of Frankenstein which will have Benedict Cumberbatch as the Creature and Johnny Lee Miller as Frankenstein
The show is two hours so if you’re not interested in going to see Frankenstein join us for the potluck at around 4:30 pm! After the showing we will all walk together to Aldrich Park which is at the center of the UCI campus to have a picnic/potluck in which everyone will bring some sort of food to share. It’s not mandatory to bring food, but it would be lovely if you could! Show off your baking skills or bring your favorite food!
If you’re interested in going, please message me or breathingsboring to RVSP. Please try to RVSP if you want to go, we’re trying to get an estimate of how many people are interested! You can still show up if you don’t RVSP though, the meet-up is open to anyone. Feel free to bring friends, if you RVSP and you want to bring a friend, let us know how many people are tagging along with you!
